This pumpkin cream cheese frosting adds cozy Fall flavor to desserts. It's thick, creamy, and tangy, and comes together in just 5 minutes.

  • Add the softened cream cheese and salted butter to the bowl of a stand mixer or hand mixer. Cream together on medium-high speed until smooth.
    113 grams unsalted butter, 226 grams cream cheese
  • Gradually mix in the powdered sugar on low speed 1 cup at a time until combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
    480 grams powdered sugar
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree, vanilla, and pumpkin spice on low until combined. Then mix on medium-high speed until the frosting is light and fluffy.
    60 grams pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Add the frosting to a piping bag and use to decorate your favorite desserts!

Notes

Use room temperature butter and cream cheese for a smooth frosting.
Storage- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature and mix for a creamy consistency.
Freezing- Freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before using.
