Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic, chewy chocolate chip cookies. This recipe makes 6-7 of them do none go to waste. No chill time required.

This is the best small batch chocolate chip cookie recipe! The cookies have crisp edges, soft centers, and pools of melty chocolate.

Ingredients Needed

Melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, all purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.

First, whisk the cooled melted butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

Step 1

Next add the egg yolk and salt. Stir until the texture is like a thick paste. Make sure the egg yolk is room temperature before using.

Step 2

Add the all purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Fold gently with a rubber spatula until there are a few dry patches of flour left.

Step 3

Next, pour in the chocolate chips. Fold them in gently until the dry streaks of flour disappear.

Step 4

Scoop cookie dough balls on to a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set and the middles are slightly underdone.
