Dulce de Leche Mousse

Creamy, no bake mousse cups flavored with dulce de leche topped with whipped cream.

This dulce de leche mousse is the perfect no bake treat! There are no eggs and no gelatin required. They have a thick, creamy consistency and so much rich dulce de leche flavor.

Ingredients Needed

Egg yolks, granulated sugar, salt, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and dulce de leche.

Start by whisking the room temperature egg yolks, sugar, and salt together in a large mixing bowl.

Step 1

Heat half of the heavy cream and in a medium saucepan. Slowly pour it into the egg mixture while whisking to temper the egg yolks.

Step 2

Add the mixture back into the pot and heat on low until it coats the back of a spoon. Then take off the heat and whisk in the dulce de leche. Let cool.

Step 3

In a separate large bowl, whip the heavy cream with a mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.

Step 4

Gently fold the whipped cream into the dulce de leche custard until the mixture is well combined.

Step 5
