A blueberry basil margarita is a remix of the classic lime margarita. Made with silver tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, blueberry simple syrup, and fresh basil, these margaritas are unique, refreshing, and irresistible. They only take 5 minutes to make!
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and place it upside down in the coarse salt, coating the rim. Set aside.
1 tablespoon coarse salt
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and blueberry simple syrup.
2 oz tequila, 1 oz orange liqueur, 1 oz lime juice, 1 oz blueberry simple syrup
Close the cocktail shaker tightly and shake for 30 seconds.
Fill your glass with ice and strain or pour the margarita mixture into the glass.
Garnish your cocktail with a sprig of fresh basil, a slice of lime, and fresh blueberries and enjoy.
