Vanilla Pear Bread

A soft and moist loaf of pear bread flavored with warm spices and vanilla.

This moist vanilla pear bread has cinnamon, spices, and vanilla mixed into a pear filled quick bread. It's perfect to serve warm with coffee on chilly mornings.


All purpose flour, eggs, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, spices, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pears.

Peel and chop the pears and set them aside. Then whisk together the wet ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the eggs in one at a time.

Step 1

Add half of the flour and all of the baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the bowl and mix until no streaks of flour remain. Then fold in the rest of the flour and spices.

Step 2

Fold the chopped pears into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a rubber spatula

Step 3

Add thinly sliced pears on top for garnish. Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes. Let the bread cool before slicing.
