Soft and chewy brown sugar cookies loaded with crunchy, chocolatey peanut M&M candies.
Peanut M&M cookies are a classic treat! Peanut M&Ms are swirled into the cookie dough. Once they're baked, the colorful candies poke out! They melt in your mouth and ooze chocolate with every bite.
Unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and peanut M&Ms.
Vigorously whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until combined.
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Mix the ingredients with a whisk until smooth and combined well.
Fold in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then fold in the M&Ms. Chill the dough for at least 20 minutes..
Once the cookie dough is chilled, scoop dough balls on to a lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10-14 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the hot tray for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire cooling rack.
