Juicy peaches topped with a buttery brown sugar oat topping and baked to perfection!
Old fashioned peach crisp is the ultimate summer comfort food! Juicy peaches and a crunchy topping with a scoop of ice cream on top- what could be better?
Fresh or frozen peaches, all purpose flour, granulated sugar, and lemon juice.
Flour, butter, sugar, brown sugar, whole rolled oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. This recipe is different from peach cobbler or peach crumble because of the oats!
Toss the peaches in the flour, sugar, and lemon juice. Then, arrange them in an even layer in a baking dish.
In a separate large mixing bowl, mix all of the topping ingredients together until well combined.
Generously sprinkle the topping all over the peach filling in the baking dish. Bake at 350°F/180°C for 50-60 minutes.
When the peaches are bubbling and the topping is golden brown, remove the crisp from the oven to cool. Once it's cooled slightly, scoop some vanilla ice cream on top.
