Dollop of Dough
This recipe makes 6-9 delicious, chewy oatmeal cookies with gooey chocolate chips.
These small batch oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are a chewy twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie. Oats give them a hearty texture and nutty flavor that's perfect with chocolate and cinnamon.
Butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, oats, all purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, chocolate chips.
Let the butter and whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Then add the egg and vanilla.
Pour the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt into the bowl. Fold the dry ingredients in with a rubber spatula.
Once the dry ingredients are mostly combined, add the chocolate chips. Fold until no dry streaks of flour are left.
Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet and place each scoop about 1-2 inches away from each other.
Chill the dough for 20 minutes. After that, place the cookies in the oven and bake at 350°F/180°C for 10-15 minutes.
