Ingredients Needed

Melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, old fashioned oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, chocolate chips.

First, whisk the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar together. Then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.

Fold the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt into the wet ingredients with a rubber spatula until a few streaks of flour remain.

Add the chocolate chips to the bowl. Fold them in gently until the dry streaks of flour just disappear.
