Dollop of Dough
Creamy vanilla ice cream swirled with cherry sauce, Kirsch, and chocolate chunks.
This super creamy no churn ice cream is inspired by a traditional Black Forest cake! With German cherry liqueur and plenty of chocolate, it's the best summer dessert- especially served in a cone!
Heavy whipping cream, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, Kirsch (or cherry liqueur), salt, cherry filling, and chopped chocolate. You can add brownie or chocolate cake pieces too!
In a stand mixer with the wire whip attachment, whip the heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. This will take about 3 minutes.
Gently fold in sweetened condensed milk, salt, and Kirsch. Make sure to fold everything super gently with your spatula so you don't lose any air.
Next, fold in the cherry sauce and your chopped chocolate chunks. Again, be very gentle when mixing!
Pour the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan. Swirl in more cherry filling and top with more chopped chocolate.
Freeze for at least 6 hours or until frozen solid. Let the ice cream soften at room temperature for about 5 minutes before serving.
Serve your ice cream with whipped cream, hot fudge, and a cherry and enjoy! Want to make this recipe? Check out the full instructions at:
