This apple crisp is so easy to throw together in a skillet or baking dish. The fresh apple filling and streusel topping are made with honey, so there are no refined sugars.

Unsalted butter, honey, all purpose flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
First, peel and slice your apples. Toss the apples lemon juice, honey, cornstarch, and spices together in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the apples into a skillet and then mix the melted unsalted butter and honey together in a medium mixing bowl.
Add the flour, oat, spices, and salt. Fold everything together with a rubber spatula until there are no dry streaks of flour.
Spoon the topping over the the apple filling. Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is brown and the filling is thick and bubbly.
