Smooth, decadent coffee cream cheese frosting perfect for slathering on cakes and cookies.
This coffee cream cheese frosting is flavored with instant coffee! It's tangy, sweet, and delicious on everything, from cakes to cupcakes to cookies and brownies.
You will need full fat softened cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and instant coffee granules.
First, add the softened butter and cream cheese the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on medium-high speed until fluffy and smooth.
Gradually beat in powdered sugar on low 1 cup at a time. Pulse the mixer until the powdered sugar is mostly mixed in and increase the speed to medium.
Mix the instant coffee granules into the vanilla extract in a small bowl. Mix until the instant coffee dissolves completely.
Pour the vanilla instant coffee mixture into the frosting and mix in on low. Increase the speed to medium and beat until light and fluffy.
