Soft and chewy cookies made with double chocolate cookie dough and sugar cookie dough.
You'll love these marble cookies! They're half chocolate half sugar cookies. They're soft, chewy, super chocolatey. and have a pretty marbled effect.
Melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla, flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
First, whisk the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together. Then add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
Next, fold in the all purpose flour, baking soda, and salt with a rubber spatula until combined.
Split the dough in half and add extra flour to one half. This is the sugar cookie dough. Set aside.
Next, fold cocoa powder and chocolate chips to the other half of cookie dough and set the bowl aside.
Weigh out 15 grams (1/2oz) balls of cookie dough. Squish them together to make a marbled effect and chill for 30 minutes.
Once chilled, bake the cookies at 350°F or until the edges are set but the middles are still puffy. Let cool for 5 minutes on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
