This chocolate ganache cake is perfect for chocolate lovers! It's rich, decadent, and super easy to make with a couple bowls and no mixer! It will deliver at any occasion.
Egg, neutral oil, buttermilk, vanilla extract, flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and hot coffee.
Bittersweet chocolate (dark and semi-sweet also work), heavy cream, cold unsalted butter.
In a large bowl, whisk the egg, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract together until well blended.
Fold the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth with few lumps.
Next, mix in the coffee until smooth. Pour into a baking pan and bake at 350°F/180°C for about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Make the ganache by pouring hot cream over chocolate. Stir until smooth and mix in the butter.
