Apple Cider Cupcakes

Moist and fluffy cupcakes flavored with spices and apple cider with cinnamon cream cheese frosting swirled on top.

These apple cider cupcakes are so soft and moist! They're made with real apple cider and homemade apple pie spice. Tangy cream cheese frosting makes them irresistable.

Ingredients for the Cupcakes

All purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, apple pie spice, softened butter, eggs, apple cider.

Ingredients for the Frosting

Full fat cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

Add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix on low about 5 times. Beat in butter until it looks like wet sand.

Step 1

Once the butter is fully incorporated, add the vanilla extract and eggs. Mix on low until a thick batter forms.

Step 2

Next, mix in the apple cider by hand or with the mixer on low until thin and mostly smooth. A few lumps are ok.

Step 3

Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full of batter and bake for 20-22 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Make the frosting while the cupcakes cool.

Step 4

Frost the cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and enjoy! Want to make this recipe? Check out the full instructions at:
