Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These almond flour banana muffins are healthy, paleo, and grain free, bursting with banana flavor and melty dark chocolate chips. They come together within 20 minutes!


You only need a few simple ingredients to make these muffins. Bananas are the primary sweetener.

Add 3 over-ripe bananas to a large bowl and mash them with a fork. They should be mashed until smooth.

Add the almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt to a large mixing bowl. Whisk together.

Step 2

Add the eggs, tahini, honey, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar to the mashed bananas and mix until combined.

Step 3

Add the almond flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.

Step 4

With a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, fold the chocolate chips into the muffin batter gently.

Step 5

Scoop the batter into a muffin pan. Fill each muffin liner 3/4 of the way full. Top with more chocolate chips and bake!
